I confess: I am the worst leg shaver ever to have graced this green earth. Warm weather brings shorts, skirts and dresses. Its harder to go weeks without shaving your legs, so I am stuck cutting...er shaving my legs more often.
Julie Doiron - Glad to be alive from josh lyon on Vimeo. Last week it rained on my two days off. This time it is not the case. I'm heading to Penn Treaty Park via bicycle to check out the Shad Fest. I'm meeting Ellen, and hopefully Ryan will meet up later on.
Since this building opened I have called it The Iceberg while never knowing its true name. Today I finally looked it up. It's the Circa Center Building, and is the tallest Philly building outside of the Center City district.
"My love for you makes me forget how annoying you can be."-rz Ry said this to me yesterday afternoon after inviting me into bed when he was preparing for a nap. I was not into the idea of taking a nap, therefore explaining my "annoying" (2.5 year old when they first wake up and want to play, play, play) behavior. For those of you who have never experienced a 2.5 year old that early in the morning, let me fill you in- they are chatty, ready to rumble, and they also play with your face to check levels of alertness.
In other news: This song came on a play list Ry made this morning.
Do you remember these puppies? I finally got around to getting my eyes checked, and some new lenses put in them. Photo 4 (excuse the shitty face). I accomplished a lot today, despite of the dreary weather. A long-for-me (short-for-others) list was almost all crossed off. 1. Visited the optomotrist, 2. Old Glasses, 3. New Glasses, 4. New to Me Glasses
Maria Taylor released a new album Tuesday, Ladyluck.
I'm diggin' this video. Bad girls in party dresses rule.

Children's literature has always been something I wanted to get into. This Christmas, Ryan gave me children's books as part of my present. I didn't know until tonight that the classic, Where the Wild Things Are, is being turned into a movie. I want to go to go see it on the big screen while eating a dinner of peanut M&Ms, popcorn, Swedish Fish, and Soda.
P.S. Did I mention that I gave up sweets for lent? Yeah, I'm going crazy. I have the worst cravings for junk, and I almost salivate to the point of dribbling all over my chin. Charming.
