Frienship Bread

A girl at work, Alex, passed along a bag of starter batter of Amish Friendship Bread. Its pretty easy and fun to make. The results are delicious. I've done my part and gave/will give 4 friends this starter batter. They will pass it along to 4 other friends, and hopefully in a few weeks I'll be one of them.

Vacation

I am really close to the family I babysat for in the past. They are really like a second family to me. I love the kids.
Every year since I met them, they have asked me to join them on thier yearly retreat to the beach.

Hey, A Quilt!

The quilt is almost done. While spreading out the top quilt to test the size against our bed I clicked this bad boy into being.

Staycation

Philadelphia is a beautiful city. Ryan and I needed a break, and decided to pinch pennies a bit by staying in our city to take in its splendor.
We spent time:
Cafe Ole', Philadelphia, Pa. here
Bus Tour of Philadelphia Double Decker Bus riding one of these!!
Checking out the Rosenbach Museum.
Looking at trees at the Jenkins Arboretum.
Not having to cook!
and being kinda romantic like.

Super Friends

I have a super friend named Brian (or Brain as we call him at Trader Joe's). He got married to a pretty special woman, Danielle. They did something really neat for their wedding reception. Instead of having one party to celebrate their marriage and love for each other they had multiple parties all over the country. They also played music at every location, so it was really a splendid tour-reception-fun time- party.
Heres a photo from the shindig in Philly.

Brian is in the striped shirt, and Danielle is in the pretty red dress.
They are really great people.
