NPR Meets Summer Reading

I love NPR. Love, love love. I could listen for hours, and I do. Clicking around from story to story and listening to the news here and there too.

This story talks about the books for children. Two of the three I've read when I was a child; The Boxcar Children Series, and The Witches.

Bike BooBoo

Yep, I had my first accident. Earlier this week I feel right off my bike on the way home from work. I have a purpley-yellow bruise on my hip and this little bruise raspberry on my elbow. Ouch. Don't worry, I'm still out there ridin'!

Be Good to Yourself

I have been working at a grocery store for almost a year now. Last night little old granny told me to be good to myself as she was leaving. 'Be good to yourself', not 'take care' or 'have a good evening'. So, I think I'll give it a try.
