Here is the improved mouse pad I made tonight. I just replaced the fabric on the old mouse pad I used in college and got from Ikea for 35 cents.
I bought this fabric years and years ago from Joanne's. I stuck the material on the pad using acrylic gel medium. The only problem is that the gel medium kinda stinks. Hopefully the stink will dissipate.

I rotate magazines that I am done reading as my mouse pad. They do the job really well.
