Dear Mr. C,
I have been a remarkably good girl (woman) this year. I don't usually ask for gifts, but this year I'm in a pinch. I don't want to start a year with my heart in pieces. I don't mind the scars, so if the elves' fingers are tired I don't mind a sloppy job. All I'm asking for is for a little quick mending before the year is out. As you can see- I've been trying, and started fixing things in the ol' ticker. Finish up for me?
