I would invite....

All of my friends! The girls from face painting, the folks I worked with at trader joe's, some school people, friends from high school and college.

The theme would be....

Roof-top vintage-funky casual

I would host it....

On a roof-top over looking Philly. The roof-top would have an awesome deck and garden, hammocks, outdoor couches with cozy cushions and pillows, tiki lamps, and a projector playing movie clips and music videos. 

We would eat....

Gourmet pizzas made on a grill, grilled fresh veggies, a nice summer salad, fancy cheeses and dried fruit, grilled fruit to put over ice cream, and sorbet. yum!! We would drink sun tea, and watermelon smoothies.

Party Time

It was my birthday on June 20th, and also Father's Day. Its a tricky time to have a birthday, so I opted to have a party on the 26th instead. I invited what seemed like a gazillion people, but knowing me and my luck only a handful showed up. Don't fret people because this handful of people were quite the bunch! I had a great time, and all my guests got along swimmingly!
Let me tell you, it is hard working getting ready for a party. The planning, buying of food and drink, cleaning, decorating, cooking. After all of that I was ready for a nap. The layer cake took the longest since I only have two pans, but it was obviously well worth it!
